Proud to Rep
As I mentioned before, I want to be a therapist to sit across from someone in their darkest time, as my therapist did for me, and remind them of the light they share with the world. That in their darkest of times, there is a light of hope that shine through and that light is their heart, it is their strength and their resilience. To be a therapist is to walk alongside someone, collaborating on how to celebrate the best of times and work through the toughest together. I've spent so many years struggling alone, thinking I was not worthy of love, sincere two-way friendships and relationships because my accident stripped me of so may years where I had no one but my parents, crying on the bathroom floor and in the shower wishing that I didn't exist. I vow to do everything in my power to help anyone who walks through my doors feel better about themselves and remind them that they are worthy of love and they matter on this earth. I am here to help others find well-being and I am proud to share the brands I choose loyalty to as well as the brands I have partnered up with that help me ground down in empowerment, tribe love and self-care.

Project HEAL
Why am I so proud to be a Project HEAL Ambassador?
Because I truly admire and support their mission and values in providing assistance, hope and a lending hand to those struggling with eating disorders and body-image difficulties. Having survived the trenches of my own battle and choosing the path of recovery for a little over 2 years now, I am forever grateful to those who stand alongside another whom suffers and offers support, a safe space and empathy.
When I was suffering from anorexia and body dysmorphia, it felt like I was having a daily battle not just with my body, but with my mind, soul and spirit. Until I asked for help and guidance and invested my time and energy in therapy, I felt ashamed, guilty, isolated, depressed and hopeless. Receiving support allowed me to put an end to the negative self-talk and less-than-serving interactions, the dangerous cycle of comparison and helped me to practice gratitude for all that I am and build a positive dialogue with myself to wholeheartedly believe that I am enough.
Self-care isn’t selfish, it’s beautiful and healthy. Seeking help is an embodiment of strength. Choosing recovery need not be a path that’s travelled alone. Replacing toxic interactions with positive relationships is actually pretty rad!
If you are interested in services or information and/or would like to get involved or donate, feel free to privately reach out to me anytime, I’m here. Always.
